Course In India
|17 March, 2014
Beloved Friends of BCF,
Loving greetings to you and yours. We trust you all had a wonderful time celebrating the Lord’s goodness during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season, and that you are looking forward to the warmth and beauty of the Spring season. As we look forward to Easter, we know that many of you are preparing for special Resurrection celebrations. In this update, we wanted to let you know about the amazing opportunity the Lord has provided for us to teach in India, and to ask for your prayer support.
Beginning March 12, Steve and Shashi Smith and I left for Coimbatore, India where we will have the special privilege of conducting training for a group of Indian pastors and leaders. What is so exciting about this training is that it is not just a matter of teaching Self-Confrontation and Teacher Training. Those attending the courses are committed to translating BCF materials into numerous Indian languages.
In addition, some of the attendees will be checking existing Indian translations (Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu) for accuracy and faithfulness to the Scriptures. Since the teams who will be translating into new languages and checking existing translations for accuracy are bilingual, there is no need to have translators during the courses, which will enable us to do a little more extensive training.
We are deeply blessed that the Lord would use BCF’s ministry to be a small part of what He is doing to reach into so many areas of the world to help people know Him and understand how to walk in His love.
If you would like to partner with us through your support, please pray:
|We praise God for you, and your co-laboring with us through your ministry of prayer support. May you continue to be strengthened and encouraged in your own personal ministries and service to the Lord.
In His precious love,
